Week 2: Feathered animals*

I wanted to draw an animal that wasn't a bird, who wanted to fly. I tried out a few ideas in my head and on paper, before settling for this idea, inspired by a conversation between two four year old girls.

The story of Amelie the Adventurous Adelie Penguin
One little penguin couldn't bear to be restricted by the closed minded ideas of rest of her colony, and so she set out to prove them wrong, one can't at a time.
