Week 38: Cat*
This week I wanted to follow up from my close-up and cropped-in elephant illo I did with colour pencils (week 23: zoo).
I had to use a found image this time, rather than my own photo, it was exactly what I was after though, so I was happy to find it.
I could have carried on with this for hours, but I have to remember my new favourite mantra:
finished, not perfect.
I added a last minute illo. I reminded myself that one of the things I wanted to do this year was to develop ideas for my little doodled characters. So, I designed a cat costume in many colours.

and the best / most surprising thing is that this catalogue of cats was chosen to be in the picks
